Tammy lives with her husband on an acreage outside of Edmonton. Among her many talents, Tammy is an accomplished seamstress, designing custom gowns, and a sought-after hair stylist. In her free time, Tammy enjoys beekeeping, gardening and horseback riding.
Kimberley is a Mediator and Registered Collaborative Lawyer, specializing in divorce and family law. Kimberley can also assist clients with their Wills and Estate matters and Real Estate transactions. Kimberley completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Alberta in 2009, including achieving additional certification in Peace and Post-Conflict studies. Kimberley obtained her Juris Doctor law degree in 2014 from the University of Calgary, and was called to the Alberta bar in July, 2015.
Kimberley is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association. She is part of the Family Law Executives both Nationally and at the local Northern Alberta level, taking part in case law and legislative review, public education events and important discourse about efficiency and access to justice issues in the family court system. In 2018, she was part of a Round-Table discussion with the Minister of Justice of Alberta in regard to introducing new legislation regarding common-law spouses and property rights in the Province. Kimberley also represents young Alberta lawyers both locally and nationally as a member of the Canadian Young Lawyers Executive, and acts as a volunteer mentor to law students through the CBA Mentor Program.
Kimberley is a Collaborative lawyer with the Collaborative Divorce Alberta Association, the Association of Collaborative Family Professionals in Edmonton and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Kimberley is also a Mediatorand member of the Alberta Family Mediation Society.
Kimberley is a long time volunteer and supporter of the Edmonton Community Legal Centre, providing free legal advice to low income Albertans.
Kimberley likes to stay active through skiing, volleyball and slo-pitch. She's a movie buff, and a big Edmonton Eskimos fan.
Rod has been a practicing lawyer in Alberta for over 47 years. Rod received his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1969 and was admitted as a member of the Alberta bar in July, 1970. Rod's practice includes residential and commercial Real Estate, Matrimonial and Family matters, Estate probate applications and legal advice about rights and obligations, Wills and related personal documents, and Corporate and Business advice.
Rod and his wife enjoy spending time with their two sons and grandchildren. Rod's eldest son is a lawyer in Edmonton, and his youngest son is a social worker in the inner city. Rod is a volunteer for the Edmonton Food Bank and is an active parishioner of St. Herman's Orthodox Christian Church.
